CORY Named Carrier of the Year

Cory was named Bob’s Carrier Partner of the Year at the annual Bob’s Discount Furniture Partners in Progress awards dinner held recently at Mohegan Sun.

Individual Cory locations that service Bob’s also received recognition during the evening. The North Bergen, NJ location was recognized for the Most Improved facility. The Mid-Atlantic team in Aberdeen, MD won the Effective Completion Rate award while the Frederick, MD team took the Voice of the Customer, On Time Delivery, and Customer Service Index awards for the region. Cory’s Shorewood, IL location won the Voice of the Customer and On Time Delivery awards.

CORY Appoints Luisa Solana VP Client Relations

Luisa Solana has been promoted to Vice President of Client Relations and appointed to the Cory Executive Committee.

As VP, Solana will direct the Cory Client-Relations team. She is charged with identifying client needs, providing CTQ (Critical to Quality) solutions, identifying value added practices that enhance client satisfaction, opportunities for growth, organizing account reviews and managing client communications.

As a member of the Cory Executive Committee she will be joining other committee members who are responsible for strategic and financial management of the business.

Solana began her career as a Dispatcher/Router at Cory in January of 2007 and quickly advanced into managerial positions within Cory. She served as a Customer Service Manager, Office Administrator, Facility Manager, Key Account Manager, and recently assumed the role of Director of Client Relations making her a steward of the CORY Way and ambassador of client brands.

Solana attended Barry University where she became a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT). She attended Florida International University where she majored in marketing, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis and Intelligence at Villanova University.
She serves her community through the Lay Ministry at Prince of Peach Catholic Church and is active in the Family Encounter Program in the Archdiocese of Miami. She sits on several community boards and is a member of Women@Cory.
